Our Origin
At Holland Living, we believe that navigating the home environment shouldn't feel like a crisis. We know this because we have walked this path ourselves. As a husband-and-wife team, our approach was forged during a 10-year Alzheimer's journey with Boyd’s mother. That profound personal experience gave us deep insight into the logistical and emotional realities families face, highlighting exactly what the market is missing: a professional partner who can think three steps ahead while staying deeply connected to the people in the room.
Our Professional Foundation
To provide true "Strategic Home Stewardship," we combine our deep personal empathy with decades of executive-level operational leadership and relationship management. We built Holland Living to serve as the central hub and integrator for all your household operations.
Boyd Holland: Anchoring our technical expertise, Boyd is a Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist (CAPS). Prior to co-founding Holland Living, he spent over 12 years in the technology sector at Microsoft, serving as a Relationship Manager, Program Manager, and Global Service Delivery Manager. He later spent the next chapter of his career successfully managing his mother’s residential interior design firm. This unique blend of rigorous, global logistics coordination and a deep understanding of aesthetic, functional home design allows him to seamlessly oversee complex environmental modifications and technology integrations.
Christy Holland: Christy brings executive-level operational strategy and profound emotional intelligence to our family partnerships. Before co-founding Holland Living, she spent over 14 years as a Vice President and Partner, scaling a highly successful agency. Her extensive background in operations, client services, and people strategy equipped her with a rare ability to navigate high-pressure situations, manage conflicting priorities, and lead with empathy. She directs our internal operations flawlessly while serving as a compassionate, fiercely organized advocate for the families we support. During our family’s journey, his mother's doctor famously referred to Christy as "The Truth Seeker", a title she continues to earn today as she relentlessly advocates for the families we serve.
