Our Story
Holland Living was born from a decade-long journey caring for Boyd's mother through Alzheimer's. That experience revealed a gap between healthcare and navigating a new normal in everyday life in the home environment, inspiring us to create a different kind of partnership. Today, we help navigate evolving home needs with thoughtful guidance, strategic support, and genuine compassion.
Meet the Founders
As a husband-and-wife team, we combine lived experience with decades of executive and community leadership in technology, operations, and client service.
Boyd is a Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist (CAPS) whose background includes more than 12 years at Microsoft, residential design management, and community board leadership.
Christy spent over 14 years as a partner and vice president at a successful digital agency, leading operations, client relationships, and strategic growth––alongside active community board leadership in Charlotte.
Together, we bring the organizational discipline, empathy, and advocacy families need to navigate complex journeys with confidence.
How We Work
We serve as the central coordinator for your home environment, navigating communication, recommendations, and project scope with the homeowner, trusted professionals, family members, and service providers. Whether we're working with the independent homeowner, caregiver, contractor, attorney, financial advisor, healthcare provider, or senior move manager, our role is to promote decisions that support your short-term and long-term goals.

We believe every person on the aging or caregiving journey deserves to feel informed, respected, and supported. These journeys are not linear or black and white. We find most people need a strategy, not a plan. Our role is to bring clarity, calm, and practical options, never pressure, so you can choose what's right for you. That's why we meet our clients where they are and approach every moment with empathy, clear communication, and thoughtful strategy, helping you spend less time in overwhelm and more time focusing on what matters.
